Asian-Pacific American (APA) or Asian-Pacific Islander (API) is a term sometimes used in the United States to include both Asian Americans and Pacific Islands.
It is estimated that, by the year 2050, some ethnic minority groups (e.g., Hispanic and Asian/Pacific Islander) will increase by more than 200% from the year 2000.
